GIVE
Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
2 Corinthians 9: 6-8
At Living Waters Church, there is no compulsion to give but if you would like to sow into the life, health and towards the vision of the church, either financially or practically, we would love you to do so. There are many different ways which you can give.
We are extremely grateful for the generosity of the people of Living Waters Church who, through their consistent financial giving or practical serving, enable us to achieve our vision to gather people together with one purpose, grow them in God and build a relevant, lively church in the heart of South Tyneside. Although we are part of Assemblies of God, we are an autonomous church and, therefore, do not receive any financial aid. We exist because of the generosity of our congregation.
We believe that we are blessed by God and should, therefore be a blessing to others. We are called to give generously in response to all that God gave to us. Giving of our time, gifts, resources and finances is an act of worship as it declares that what we have is not as important as the one who gave it to us. We believe that we are first called to be cheerful givers.
Many people in our church give a tithe. Of course, this is a decision which you must make. As we give in obedience to God, lives (including our own) are transformed.
