LIGHTHOUSE KIDS

“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Matthew 5: 14-16

These words of Jesus are the foundational verses of our children’s ministry. We want our kids to grow knowing who God is and to rely upon Him in their daily lives, then go out into their world, unashamedly letting their light shine so everyone will see Jesus through them!

Lighthouse Kids is our fun ‘kids church’ for children from Reception – Year 6. Each week, your child will join the whole church for praise and worship before going out of the Sunday Service with members of our Kids’ Team. The children will hear Bible stories, play fun games, create crafts, pray and discuss how Jesus is alive today! They will also receive a drink and snack.

We know that your children are precious and deserve the best care we can offer. For this reason, our leaders are experience children’s workers/teachers, have full DBS checks, receive safeguarding training and adhere to our Code of Conduct.

We also understand that all children are unique, learn differently and could have specific needs. We aim to provide a program that is inclusive to all.

If your child requires additional assistance through any of our programs, then please talk to one of the leaders so we can work out a plan to make Lighthouse Kids as fun and successful as possible for you and your child.
